Shoe Tree Shelf
Design Inspiration “Come bearing fruit”
Women love shoes but never have enough space for it. I noticed that buying an amazing shoe is just like picking a ripe fruit off a tree. For some, the emotional satisfaction and fulfillment of looking through the aisles of a store and finding the right style of shoe is equal to combing through the land of trees looking for the right fruit. This inspired me to create the tree shelf unit, which provides a solution for storage issues. The design expression of the Tree Shelf identifies the balancing stability of the roots with its anchored base, which maintains a central core of the trunk that supports the evenly distributed branches for shoes to be placed and picked up again when needed. Using a small footprint but maximizing the vertical space allows this Tree Shelf to truly capture a primary element of a fruit tree while providing a solution to your storage issues.
